      SS DINNER YEAST ROLLS

      Ingredients

      Bleached Enriched Wheat Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Sugar, Eggs, Soybean Oil, Salt, Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil, Yeast, Mono And Di-glycerides, Whey.

      Directions

      Preparation Directions: Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove desired number of rolls from bag. Brush tops of rolls with butter or topping of your choice. Place frozen rolls on baking sheet on middle rack of oven. Heat in pre-heated oven for 5-10 minutes or until desired browning has occurred on top and bottom. Toaster Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place desired number of frozen rolls on ungreased toaster oven tray. Bake 10-12 minutes or until desired browning has occurred on top and bottom.

      Keep frozen.

        I bought these on a whim! I had tried just about every frozen rolls from Pillsbury down the line and wanted to try something new. These rolls did not disappoint! Soft and delicious and cooked up in a flash! I even had two leftover rolls and heated them up the next day and they were still soft as ever.         These rolls taste really good and are easy to prepare; however, on 2 occasions, there were only 16 rolls in the 20 roll bag size. That was disappointing since I paid for 20. They need to do a better count when bagging the rolls.

        Having relatives in England who have expressed opinions about our breads, and my being very interested in the culinary fields, I was interested to see if these rolls were also "way too sweet for regular bread (as is popular in America)". My verdict: YES, these certainly are. I had wanted to use them for more than a dinner side, such as for meat, fish, &/or cheese sandwiches. But I can't - that much sugar just tastes wrong with very savoury food. Well, at least they don't use HFCS?
